About the Project
The pandemic changed consumers' behaviors, making them more willing to buy online, even when looking for a new car. The online sales channel became “one of the main pillars of the operation,” says Nicolas Acuña, Digital Platforms Manager for America and Africa at Inchcape. In this new scenario, Inchcape needed a better way to serve customers on the web.
AltaVoz worked with Inchcape to design and develop websites for brands such as Subaru, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Suzuki, DFSK, Hino, and Geely in different countries of Latin America. Following our methodology, each website has been released timely and according to the needs of each brand.
Each website has a distinctive brand look and includes features such as comparing different car models, customizing a car by selecting its color, add-ons, and other attributes, making a reservation for a car, and contacting a dealership to make a purchase. “We are looking to make it friendlier for the user, where you can select your car and start building it on the website,” says Mr. Acuña.
AltaVoz developed a custom solution based on Prontus CMS, where the site administrators manage the content and upload all the information for each car model. Through our support service, a team of developers at AltaVoz continues to work together with Inchape’s team to create new features and to design and deploy new websites in different markets.
